My son was incredibly passionate about the guitar, really exquisitely talented in a way I don't understand. Two years ago he was playing constantly and writing his own music. He performed it in school and was really proud of himself. Then he performed at a talent show and froze up. He didnt touch his guitar for a year. My brother worked really hard at trying to get him to play again and set up an opportunity for him to perform live in front of 500 people. It was the kind of thing you dream about as a kid. He did, and had a standing ovation. But even that wouldnt get him to play again. Until David.

I don't know what magic David has but my son is playing every day. I hear him strumming and singing. He's learning a new song and is happy.
